New from Glock at the 2009 SHOT SHOW
January 17, 2009 - 12:04 PM
The RTF2 Frame gives the shooter a better grip with thousands of raised polymer gripping spikes shaped like small pyramids. This NEW frame surface covers the front, back, and sides of the frame along with the thumb rests. These small pyramid spikes enhance the users grip and tactile feel of the pistol even in the most extreme conditions.
The new slide serration pattern gives the Glock a more modern look and are designed to provide better performance in the field.
Glock reps at their booth stated that they expect to roll out this new frame and serration pattern on all of their guns......starting with the G22 and then the G19 and G21 next in line. I like the look of the serrations and everyone I saw who handled the new grip seemed to agree it provided a better platform to firmly secure the gun in your hand. Overall, I'd say it's a big winner for Glock. And, for all of us who are Glock addicts this is must have addition to our collection.
